Naturalist and photographer, ROGER PHILLIPS has traveled thousands of kilometers across North America in search of fruits and berries, wild plants, mushrooms and edible flowers. Here he shares the results of his experiences in the form of recipes and many tips. Drawing in turn on his creations from the most appetizing edible plants, as well as those of the first settlers and the Aboriginals, the author makes us discover his tastiest and most original recipes.

Translated and adapted for Quebec, this book is actually more than a recipe book. It contains many practical tips, accompanied by photos of plants, taken by the author in their natural environment. The identification is rigorous and all the recipes have been tested. Many plants are also described for their medicinal virtues.
